Real estate investment trust Impact Healthcare REIT has appointed Amanda Aldridge (pictured) as a non-executive director of the company, effective immediately.
Aldridge joins the audit, remuneration and nomination committees and will assume the role of chairman of the audit committee after the company’s annual general meeting in May.
Aldridge previously worked at KPMG, joining the company in 1984 and qualifying as an accountant in 1987, and becoming an audit and advisory partner from 1996 until she retired from the partnership in 2017.
Aldridge is currently a non-executive director of Headlam Group and chairman of its audit committee. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Impact Healthcare REIT chairman Rupert Barclay said: “Amanda brings with her significant experience through over 20 years as an audit and advisory partner at KPMG and I’m confident that this expertise, as well as Amanda’s knowledge of real estate, will further strengthen the board and make an invaluable contribution to the group.”
