Mike Briant has taken up the position of chief financial officer and company secretary at Inspiration Healthcare Group.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Briant has over 20 years' experience as a chief financial officer, of which 12 has been spent in the medical devices sector. For example, he was group chief financial officer of LMA International, a Singapore Stock Exchange listed firm.

Briant replaces Andrew Hebb in the role at Inspiration Healthcare and officially joins the medical devices business on 19 September 2016.

Neil Campbell, chief executive of Inspiration Healthcare, said: "Mike's experience in private and quoted companies in the medical device industry will be invaluable as we embark on our next phase of growth.  He will work closely with Andrew Hebb in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth handover."
