Integrated Dental Holdings: Tom Riall

Former Priory Group boss Tom Riall has taken up the position of chief executive of Integrated Dental Holdings (IDH), which trades as mydentist.

Riall (pictured) replaces Terry Scicluna in the role and takes up his new post on 8 May. Mark Robson, chief financial officer of IDH, will take on the role of interim chief executive until Riall joins.

He was previously the chief executive of Priory Group, leaving the organisation at the end of 2016 after overseeing its merger with Partnerships in Care. Prior to working in the healthcare sector, Riall was the chief executive of the global services business at Serco.

Commenting on the move, Riall said: "I am pleased to be joining such a significant business and am excited by the opportunity to lead the UK’s largest provider of dental care. IDH is a well-established and trusted brand, with a strong national footprint, focused on best-in-class service, with excellent people and I look forward to taking up the helm. The company has a great reputation for the quality of care it provides and I look forward to building on this over the months to come.”

IDH has also appointed a new chairman, Alan Bowkett. He currently chairs aerospace firm Avio Group, renal care provider Diaverum and electronics firm Strix. He has also previously been chair of Euromedic and McCarthy & Stone.
