JLL has appointed Phil Schmid to head up the generation and execution of investment transactions in healthcare.
Schmid will be joining JLL colleagues already delivering corporate transactions in healthcare.
Schmid has over a decade of experience across the healthcare sector and is a specialist in retirement housing and adult social care related assets. He has held a number of roles previously with JLL.
He has provided advice to a range of clients including care home operators, sheltered housing providers, retirement village developers, extra care providers, and primary care.
Schmid will join JLL’s Alternatives transactions team with over 15 colleagues focusing exclusively on healthcare and Alternatives transactions.
Martin Le Grice, JLL’s head of alternative investment, commented: “Phil’s broad knowledge of the healthcare investment market and particular expertise in the retirement living sector makes him the perfect appointment for this role.”
