Michele Colocci, Morgan Stanley’s global co-head of healthcare investment banking and chairman of EMEA M&A, will rejoin JP Morgan 25 years after first starting at the bank.
Colocci will become co-head of EMEA industry coverage for corporates with Harry Hampson, and global co-head of healthcare investment banking with Jeff Stute.
He will rejoin the company in July, following a period of gardening leave at Morgan Stanley.
Colocci began his career at Bain & Company, before joining JP Morgan as part of the EMEA M&A team in 1992. He has worked at Morgan Stanley since 2004, becoming deputy head of European investment banking in 2007 and taking up his current role in 2010.
