Kingsley Healthcare: Kathy Davies and Julie Sutton

Kingsley Healthcare has appointed two regional operations directors.

Kathy Davies, a registered general nurse who has worked in social care for more than 30 years, becomes responsible for Kingsley’s homes in East Anglia and on the South coast.

Julie Sutton, who qualified as a learning disability nurse in 1987, takes charge of the company’s homes in the Northwest.

Davies, who has worked in high-profile roles with Four Seasons Healthcare and Ashbourne and, most recently, the learning disability service Clearwater Care, said: “I am very pleased to have joined Kingsley Healthcare where I believe care is delivered with both kindness and compassion within environments that meet the needs of the people who live there.”

Sutton, who began her career working in learning disability services and as an inspector, later worked with older people as a regional manager, most recently for HC-One where she had a portfolio of 16 homes.

Sutton said: “It is my intention to provide support and guidance to turn Kingsley’s homes in the Northwest into a centre of excellence. As an absolute minimum, all the homes in the Northwest will have a CQC rating of good, but we are already working on the next steps to becoming outstanding.”
