Sebastian Habibi has been appointed as a director in KPMG’s healthcare corporate finance team.

Habibi will work closely with healthcare providers and commissioners in NHS hospital trusts and general practices, and across the private and voluntary sectors.

He joins KPMG from the Department of Health, where he was most recently head of social care strategic policy & finance. Before this, he was a deputy director at DH, a position he held from 2000 until 2014.

KPMG head of healthcare Andrew Hine said: “I am delighted that someone with Sebastian’s experience within the healthcare sector has chosen to join our corporate finance business at KPMG.

Sebastian has in-depth knowledge of the NHS and will be aiding commissioners with commercial issues, and helping NHS hospital trusts to respond to tenders from commissioners.”
