Liaise Group: David Petrie and Claire Kennedy
Sequence Care Group, a provider of specialist support services for adults with complex learning disabilities, has rebranded as Liaise Group, and appointed David Petrie as its chief executive and Claire Kennedy as chief people officer.
Petrie has more than 15 years’ experience in board leadership positions in the health and care sectors, as a former chief executive of national complex care provider Active Care Group, working in commercial, operational and financial roles at Nuffield Health, and more recently at diagnostics operator, InHealth.
Kennedy has more than 20 years’ experience in human resources for healthcare and public sector organisations. She previously led recruitment and people management at Advinia Healthcare, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Royal Air Force.
Petrie said: “I am excited to be joining Liaise at such a pivotal time for the organisation. Becoming Liaise will bring us together, providing clarity on what we do across the country and reminding our partners that we are one organisation, consistently delivering on our commitments.
“Moving forward, we will continue our mission to help people to thrive by creating environments which help them flourish and empowering our staff to deliver the best standards of service possible. Our hope is that in future our stakeholders will experience Liaise as one unified organisation with a national footprint, achieving high-quality outcomes in a positive, progressive and personal way.”
Steve Page, chairman of Liaise, said: “David brings significant board level experience and excellent leadership skills to Liaise. We have been impressed by the clarity and structure he brought to similar roles in order to drive meaningful improvements in service delivery. He is a great fit for Liaise, with the right combination of skills and experience to lead the organisation through its next chapter.”
In September last year, Sequence Care Group secured backing from independent asset manager, Intriva Capital. Carter Schwartz ’s managing director, Adam Carter advised Intriva Capital on Petrie’s appointment.
