Liva Healthcare, the digital health platform for chronic diseases, has appointed Thomas Cooke as clinical services manager in the UK.
Cooke (pictured) has experience in lifestyle coaching and was previously the health and well-being programme manager at AXA PPP Proactive Healthcare.
In his new role, he will be responsible for delivering Liva’s digital healthcare offering and supporting its work with the NHS: Diabetes Prevention Programme (DPP). He will oversee the health coaches that use Liva’s digital platform to monitor and communicate with their patients tackling type-2 diabetes. Cooke will also devise service design for new customers, as well as drive the clinical implementation of Liva’s services with new patients onboarded to the programme.
Liva Healthcare managing director Simon Pickup said: “It’s an excellent time for Tom to join the team as we start to expand with new customers and reach the halfway point of the NHS: DPP digital pilot, with patients showing fantastic results already.
“Tom will help Liva expand in the UK during the next vital period of growth for the organisation. I look forward to working with Tom as we continue to onboard pre-diabetic patients to our programme, helping people prevent and reverse chronic lifestyle diseases.”
