Real estateLiz Crawford Consultancy: Liz Crawford
Liz Crawford, formerly at JLL, has left the firm to set up her own property consultancy.
She brings over 17 years’ experience in the sector. While at JLL, and prior to this at Knight Frank, Crawford (pictured) concentrated on valuation within care.
Previous roles include head of hotels at Humberts, and head of licenced and leisure at Lambert Smith Hampton.
Crawford's new consultancy offers targeted advice to smaller operators within the care sector.
She commented: “The major firms concentrate on the large corporate care home owners, when most operators in the sector are smaller. My aim is to offer an individual, down-to-earth service at an affordable price, because it seems unfair that most operators are unable to access the advice that is out there due to cost.
“I still offer valuation advice, but most of my work now includes general consultancy such as mystery shopping, feasibility studies and market research, and I have looked at a number of sites for care homes and retirement villages.”
