Medical technology provider Michelson Diagnostics has appointed Andy Hill as its chief executive.

Hill will replace Jon Holmes, who will act as chief technology officer at the firm.

Before Michelson Diagnostics, Hill was chief executive of medical imaging software company Intelligent Ultrasound.

He also worked as chief executive at British manufacturer Deltex Medical from 2002 to 2009.

Brian Howlett, chairman at the firm, said: “Andy has an excellent reputation for successfully driving commercial growth at innovative, emergent medical devices companies such as Michelson.

“The board is confident that his extensive industry expertise will provide the requisite leadership and experienced insight that the company now needs for the next exciting chapter in its evolution.”
