NFA: Iain Anderson and David Leatherbarrow

National Fostering Agency Group (NFA) chief executive Iain Anderson has announced that after 10 years with the company, he is stepping down.

He will be succeeded by David Leatherbarrow, managing director at Bupa Dental Care, as of 6 August 2018.

Leatherbarrow has worked in the dental sector for seven years, and was part of the management team which lead the sale of Oasis Dental Care to Bupa. Prior to that, he worked in senior operational and marketing roles at companies such as Wetherspoons and Whitbread.

Anderson (pictured) will remain with the specialist chidren’s services group as a non-executive director on the board.

Commenting on the change, Anderson said: "… the board and I are confident that, with the support of the established and experienced leadership team at NFA Group, we will continue to provide more integrated solutions for our customers, maintain our high standards in quality and regulatory compliance, and most importantly continue to make a real difference to those children and young people that are entrusted to our care.”

Compass Executives advised on the placement.
