Nuffield Health: Dr Davina Deniszczyc, KP Doyle, Debbie Mansfield, Alan Payne, Caroline Smith

KP Doyle has left the post of deputy chief executive at Nuffield Health, a move that is one of various recent changes to the board of the private healthcare provider.

Doyle’s departure follows that of former chief executive David Mobbs last month.

A spokesperson said Doyle (pictured)  “decided to leave the group to pursue other interests”.

Nuffield has announced that its current wellbeing and hospital divisions are being brought together “at an executive board and operational level”, which involves the shake up of positions, as part of new strategy by chief executive Steve Gray.

Gray said: “Creating one Nuffield Health sets us up for success, placing our members, patients and customers at the centre of all we do.  The new executive board has a great combination of healthcare and business knowledge; it’s a mix of the existing executive board, internal promotions and new faces and I believe it has everything it needs to be an extremely high performing leadership team.”

Dr Andrew Jones, who was previously managing director, wellbeing has become chief operating officer.

Alan Payne has joined Nuffield from Bupa, where he was group digital director, to take up the newly created position of chief digital and information officer.

Another new face is Caroline Smith, who will join Nuffield on 1 February 2016 as business development director. She is currently a partner at Management Solutions for Health Care and was previously director of healthcare services at Lloyds Pharmacy.

Greg Hyatt and Luke Talbot are remaining in their respective roles as chief financial officer and general counsel and company secretary.

Meanwhile, Dr Davina Deniszczyc has been promoted to the board as medical director and Debbie Mansfield has been promoted to HR director.

Steve Gray officially took up his role at Nuffield Health on 1 December.
