Nuffield Health: Wouter Van den Brande and James Murray
Healthcare charity Nuffield Health has appointed Wouter Van den Brande as chief strategy and development officer and James Murray as chief commercial officer.
Van den Brande takes on a portfolio with responsibility for strategy, data and insights and corporate development. He has held a number of senior positions in commercial, quality and operations across Nuffield Health and has 18 years’ experience in healthcare working across a broad range of areas from administration to clinical governance through to business development. He has worked in the NHS and independent sector and previously worked at BMI Healthcare and HCA Healthcare.
Murray, who joined Nuffield as trading and sales director in 2020, will lead propositions, trading and sales across the charity’s services. He has experience from working in sales and commercial roles across the healthcare industry and previously held senior positions at Vitality and Lloyds Pharmacy.

Wouter and James will play an important role in developing and enhancing the charity’s offering, driving forward our ambition to reach more people, including those living in disadvantaged communities.”
