Nurseplus: Ian Hobbs
Nursing and care recruitment agency Nurseplus has appointed Ian Hobbs as chief operating officer.
Hobbs has 25 years’ experience of the staffing industry. He is a mechanical engineer by trade, having formerly trained with the Ministry of Defence for five years, followed by 10 years in the financial services market before moving into the staffing industry.
Hobbs said: “While my priority will be in continuing to drive and deliver top-quality services and client development, it is also important to me, and to Nurseplus, that we continue to maintain a sharp focus on the wellbeing of our staff and dedicated workers in order to continue being the provider of choice for both clients and staff.
“There’s no doubt that pressure on spending across all parts of the UK health service currently presents all businesses operating in the market with considerable challenges, but they are challenges we will rise to.
“With the skills and experience within Nurseplus, we expect to grow the business and, with the support of our exceptional employees, become the market leader.”
