British healthcare property investor Octopus Healthcare has hired José de Pablo as investment director, effective from January 2015.

His role will include a focus on increasing investment activity in the UK care home and retirement housing sector.

Pablo was previously healthcare director at real estate firm Colliers International, a role he held from March 2011 until December 2014.

Chief executive of Octopus Healthcare Mike Adams said the firm was “really pleased” about Pablo’s appointment.

“He brings with him valuable experience and will make an important contribution to the business as we look to become the leading investor in the UK healthcare sector,” he said.
