Medical diagnostics company Omega Diagnostics has appointed Colin King as chief operating officer with effect from 3 August 2015.

King will join Omega from Axis-Shield Diagnostics, where he is currently managing director. He joined Axis-Shield in 1995.

Omega chief executive Andrew Shepherd said: “We would like to welcome Colin to the board. He brings a wealth of relevant industry experience and his depth of knowledge of the in-vitro diagnostics sector will further strengthen the Omega board.”
