Orchard Care Homes has appointed Lorraine Lee to its new role of director of nursing.

Lee has previously held roles including regional operations director for Barchester, company director at Independent Living Group & Ansel and hospital director at Care Principles.

Orchard Care Homes chief executive Paul Mancey said: “There is a lot of work to do and we know Lorraine will need to hit the ground running. We want to drive standards forward, particularly focusing on the skills and development of our nurses, and in making this a rewarding environment in which to attract and retain the best talent”.
