Orchard Care Homes has appointed Robbie Burns as non-executive chair of the board and Tony Felton as non-executive director.

Burns spent 10 years at Bupa and has held senior management roles at Healthcall and Nestor Healthcare, as well as being the former chief executive of Clinovia, which was eventually acquired by Bupa. He is currently non-executive chair of the National Fostering Agency, and non-executive director of the Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Felton, meanwhile, has previously been medical director for Bupa Home Healthcare.
