Pamplona Capital Management has hired Mark Pacala as operating partner with a particular focus on healthcare.

Most recently, Pacala (pictured) was senior advisor in the healthcare team at Oak Hill Capital Partners. While there, he served on the board of Vantage Oncology and Raintree Oncology Services until both were sold to McKesson and Carindal Health respectively.

He will continue his posts on the boards of AccentCare and SmartPak.

In his new role, Pacala will sit on the board of Precyse, Intralign and Spreemo.
