Real estatePrimary Health Properties: Harry Hyman
Primary Health Properties, a real estate investment trust that invests in modern primary healthcare facilities, has appointed its founder and chief executive Harry Hyman, as non-executive chairman when he steps down as chief executive after the company’s AGM on 24 April next year.
Hyman will succeed Steven Owen after the AGM. In September it was announced that Mark Davies will succeed Hyman as chief executive after the AGM.
The board stated that Hyman’s appointment is in the best interests of the group and all of its stakeholders, “particularly as his knowledge and expertise gained over nearly 30 years in the primary care property sector will continue to be invaluable and highly relevant to the group’s future success”.
The board added that Hyman’s term will be for a maximum of three years.
