London-based venture capital and private equity firm Queen’s Park Equity (QPE) has appointed Nick Manning to its investment team.
Manning joins from mid-market private equity firm Livingbridge, bringing several years of transaction and board experience. He has worked with businesses across the healthcare and business services sectors.
Prior to Livingbridge, Manning spent three years at Arrowpoint Advisory, having previously worked at KPMG.
Queen’s Park Equity’s managing partner Jonny Kay said: “We’re delighted to welcome Nick as we continue to build the team following the closing of our debut fund in December. His appointment comes at a busy and exciting time for QPE, as we continue to see strong deal flow in both new investment opportunities and bolt-ons to our existing partner firms.”
Jose Rodriguez, managing partner, added: “Nick’s appointment adds to QPE’s vision of building a team with not only exceptional technical ability and relevant sector experience, but also with the strong EQ required to succeed in today’s private equity environment.”
The appointment brings the QPE team to 14 across investment, origination and operations.
QPE closed its oversubscribed debut fund at £185 million in December and stated it is focused on providing capital and expertise to high-quality, entrepreneur-led businesses within the education, health and pharma, and tech services sectors, with an ambition to accelerate their growth.
