Retirement homes provider Renaissance Care has appointed Alan Twigg as central belt regional manager, responsible for three care homes in Glasgow, three homes in Edinburgh and one in Ayr, catering to more than 270 residents.
Twigg began his career at Bupa as a staff nurse in 2010, becoming a home manager in Glasgow in 2014. He later became regional director of care homes for Bupa across the Northeast of England and Edinburgh.
Renaissance Care managing director Louise Barnett said: “Alan Twigg is a brilliant addition to our ever-expanding team, his previous experience will compliment Renaissance Care’s plans for growth and our focus on general well-being across our homes.”
Twigg said: “Future plans include continuing to grow the business, increasing staff engagement, and building the brand and reputation of each home within the local communities. I hope to drive agency down and improve the health and well-being of employees across the care homes.”
