West Bromwich-based care provider Select Lifestyles has promoted two of its employees to executive director level.
Alex Ford has been promoted from health, safety and facilities manager and Sumedh Jassal has been promoted from business development manager. Both executives will take on more senior leadership responsibilities and provide strategic recommendations to support business development.
Ford has worked at Select Lifestyles for seven years. He said: “I’m very proud to have been promoted to executive director level and can’t wait to get stuck into the role, gaining a more holistic view of how the business operates.”
Jassal has worked at Select Lifestyles for almost 15 years. He commented: “I’m really looking forward to sharing my business development insights to support Select Lifestyles’ growth plans. I started my career here as a support worker, before being promoted to business development manager, so I’m thrilled to now be able to apply this experience at board level.”
Select Lifestyles’ managing director Nick Horton said: “It’s fantastic to see Alex and Sumedh joining the board of directors and we very much welcome the expertise they will bring. Alex brings valuable experience in facilities management and ensuring our properties meet industry standards, which is very important to us as the business expands and we acquire new properties.
“As well as business development, Sumedh has significant experience in interior design and making sure our services are as homely as possible, so he will be supporting us to ensure all our services maintain this high standard. We have ambitious plans for next year and we’re sure that both Alex and Sumedh will play a key role in driving the company forward.”
