Independent hospital group Spire Healthcare has appointed Mantraraj Budhdev as group general counsel and a member of the company’s executive committee, reporting to chief executive Justin Ash.
Mantraraj will lead a 13-strong team of corporate, commercial, healthcare and litigation solicitors.
He has 15 years’ global experience from a range of industries, including in the Magic Circle and the financial services sector. Most recently, he was group head of compliance and head of legal for Europe and the Americas region with a global port and logistics provider.
Ash said: “[Mantraraj] brings great experience in corporate and legal governance and will be a valuable member of Spire’s senior team. I look forward to Mantraraj working with his legal colleagues, who are core to the delivery of our corporate strategy.”
