Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group’s (MUFG) banking arm, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, has appointed Ian Wootton to the newly created role as managing director, healthcare, across the EMEA region.

Wootton (pictured) will join the bank on 2 November 2015 and will be based in London.

Previously, he was a longstanding partner at PwC, from 1994 until 2014. Most recently, Wootton has been an independent advisor for Park Road Advisory.

Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi co-head of corporate banking for EMEA Sébastien Rozès said: "We are investing in our team as part of our drive to accelerate the growth of our corporate banking business in EMEA and bolster our offering."
