Healthcare technology provider Tunstall Healthcare has appointed Mark Hindle as managing director.
Hindle has over 20 years of experience in healthcare technology, and previously held key leadership positions at Aura Healthcare, Allocate Software and Orion Health. He will drive health and care integration plans for the region, with the aim of leveraging technology to empower older people and those with long-term needs to live independently for longer.
He said: “It is a difficult set of circumstances for health and social care in the UK at the moment. We have an ageing population, that is living with more complex conditions. In both health and care there is a workforce crisis that has perpetuated for a number of years. There is also a desire for populations to remain independent: living in their communities with their loved ones around them.
“As a market leader, Tunstall has an opportunity, and even an expectation, to solve these challenges for our customers. We are eager to work with our customers on that innovation journey so that the situation for end-users doesn’t just stay the same as it is now. I’m honoured to build on the years of innovation that Tunstall has been able to bring to the market.”
Hindle replaces Stephen Jones who was appointed Interim UK&I Managing Director in June 2024, having been Tunstall’s Deputy Group CFO since November 2022.
