UDG Healthcare has announced that its current chief executive Liam FitzGerald is to retire on 31 March next year. He will be succeeded by current group chief operating officer Brendan McAtamney.
FitzGerald has been chief executive at the firm since 1 October 2000 and joined UDG Healthcare in 1993.
McAtamney was previously a vice president commercial and corporate officer within the established pharmaceuticals division of Abbott.
He joined UDG Healthcare in September 2013 as chief operating officer.
London Stock Exchange-listed UDG Healthcare specialises in supply chain, packaging, medical, regulatory and sales and marketing provision across the globe.
