Clinical healthcare outsourcing firm Vocare has appointed Carl Moffett (pictured) as commercial director.

Moffett’s role will include leading the firm’s business analyst, commercial and finance teams with an aim of expanding its reach across the UK.

Previously, Moffett was director at motor retailing company Peter Vardy, as well as a finance director at tea and coffee manufacturer Ringtons.

He started his career at PwC, where he was a director from 1995 until 2000.

Moffett graduated from Birmingham University in 1992 with a first class degree in Mathematical Economics.

John Harrison, chief executive at the firm, said Moffett would play a "vital role" within its senior management team.

Moffett said that he looked forward to joining a business that had “won a number of new contracts nationally by offering added value to the NHS”.

“I look forward to helping the company achieve its enormous potential, as we continue to expand our services across the country,” he added.
