New Care opens home in Leeds

Care home developer New Care has opened Adel Manor, a care home in Adel, a suburb of Leeds, which will provide residential, nursing, dementia and respite care services.
The facility valued at £15 million features 74 fully furnished bedrooms, each with a private en suite wet room, as well as communal lounges, dining rooms, quiet reading rooms, spa assisted bathrooms, a nail bar and a hairdresser. There are also landscaped gardens and an outdoor terrace.
Adel Manor is New Care’s tenth care facility in the UK and will create approximately 100 jobs in multiple disciplines, from carers and nurses to hospitality, housekeeping, activities, maintenance and chefs.
New Care plans to open its second care facility in Yorkshire, in Guiseley, a 72-bed home planned for completion in April next year.
Dawn Collett, commissioning director at New Care, said: “Work is progressing well on site and we are very much looking forward to the development taking shape later this year, opening a second stunning care facility in the Guiseley Conservation Area.”
New Care is part of the McGoff Group.
