Alcedo Care has appointed Lynsey Collins as live-in care manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of a 50-strong team which cares for 150 live-in care clients.

Collins recently joined Alcedo Care after being a registered manager for a residential care home. She previously worked in the funeral industry for 16 years where she worked her way up from being a funeral director to a care centre manager responsible for 21 funeral homes.

Collins said: “My role with Alcedo Care is to ensure that the very highest of standards of care are delivered at all times along with enabling my customers to remain independent in the comfort of their own homes.
