Real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Peter Farnes as a partner in its UK healthcare team

Anchor, a not-for-profit provider of older people’s housing and care, has appointed Julia Mixter as executive director, business services, effective 13 May.
Mixter replaces Kate Smith, who left Anchor to become chief executive at rural housing group Connexus.
Mixter has been director of transformation at Raven Housing Trust for more than five years. She has more than 20 years’ experience in senior human resources roles and was previously director of human resources at the Royal Automobile Club. Mixter was also director of people and operations at The Children’s Trust, a medical charity, and senior HR business partner at Transport for London. She is also a trustee for the Royal School of Church Music.
Anchor’s chief executive Sarah Jones said: “[Mixter’s] experience will be invaluable as we support colleagues to provide more and better homes where people can love living in later-life.”
Mixter commented: “I… very much looking forward to bringing my experience from within the housing sector and in previous roles to the world of older people’s housing and care.”
