Aurem Care, a care provider for older people, has appointed Daryl Martin as regional director (north).
Martin will oversee five homes for the company, which anticipates further growth.
Martin has 21 years of specialised healthcare experience with a focus on the care of older people He is a registered general nurse and has worked in the NHS and for various private sector companies, including one of the largest care providers in the UK.
His qualifications include a Level 6 organisational leadership course and a Level 6 care of the elderly course. He has also completed a degree module in elderly care.
Martin said: “My goal is to ensure that we not only deliver a high standard of care but also remain compliant with all regulations. I am committed to influencing the residents’ experiences positively, and I believe that with the right leadership and dedication, we can achieve even better outcomes.”
