Cambridge Cognition, which provides cognitive assessment software for clinical trials, academic research and healthcare, has appointed Jonathan Kempster as an independent non-executive director.

Nursing and elderly care group BCOP has appointed Helen Gore as chief executive.
The West Midlands-based charity provides nursing and residential care and support as well as sheltered housing for older people in Birmingham.
Gore has experience of the charitable sector, overseeing a number of supported living and extra care services and was previously head of operations and compliance with Gloucester Charities Trust and before that village manager for ExtraCare Charitable Trust. Her 25-year history of working with supported housing providers includes both business development and capital development programmes. She also managed a portfolio of new build and refurbishment projects across the country.
Gore said, “I am very pleased to be able to bring my mix of skills and experience to BCOP and I’m excited by the challenges ahead. BCOP is built on sound values of serving older people and we are ready to strengthen our existing services and grow to meet the needs of our communities. With a fantastic team at my side, I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.”
Executive search firm Carter Schwartz’s head of practice, Linda Stock advised on the appointment.
