Christie & Co: Jonathan Board

Jonathan Board

Business property advisor Christie & Co has appointed Jonathan Board as head of pharmacy, effective from January, replacing Tony Evans who is retiring at the end of the year after 36 years with the company.

Evans was instrumental in the development of Christie & Co ‘s pharmacy business in 2010 and is taking early retirement to spend more time with his family in Australia.

Board said: “I am delighted to succeed Tony in heading up our pharmacy team and to further build on the successes we have achieved together. Having worked alongside Tony for over 20 years, with the last 15 years developing the pharmacy side of the business, I am excited to announce that we will look to further expand the team and service offering over the next few months.”

Evans commented: “Having operated across all sectors, nothing has made me prouder than to have developed our market-leading service alongside trusted and valued colleagues in our pharmacy team. Whilst I will be sad to leave the team and sector, which have offered so much enjoyment and fulfilment, with my growing family living halfway around the world, I am excited to be writing our family’s next chapter spending more time in Australia. I am delighted to be succeeded by Jonathan Board who has collaborated tirelessly with me over the past 15 years in expanding and delivering the service we offer today.”

Paul Graham, managing director of medical at Christie & Co, added: “Tony Evans has played a pivotal role in shaping our pharmacy division into the market leader it is today, and working alongside him has been a privilege. Tony’s expertise and leadership have made a lasting impact on the business and the entire team. As Jonathan Board takes over, we are confident he will continue to build on the solid foundation that Tony has laid, driving further growth and success.”
