Cleveland Clinic has appointed Dr Robert Lorenz as president of Cleveland Clinic London, effective 1 June.
Lorenz has worked for Cleveland Clinic for more than 20 years. After completing his residency at Cleveland Clinic in 2002, he was appointed a staff physician and later section head of head and neck surgery. Since 2020, Lorenz has worked as executive medical director of market and network services, responsible for the clinical aspects of Cleveland Clinic’s government and commercial contracts.
Lorenz was previously medical director of specialty contracting and also led efforts to document the complexity of Cleveland’s care. Before that, he was chief medical officer of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi from 2008 to 2011.
Dr Tom Mihaljevic, Cleveland Clinic chief executive and president and Morton L Mandel, chief executive chair, stated: “As both a clinician and an executive, Dr Lorenz has a track record of driving value, growth and innovation.
