HCA UK: John Reay
Private healthcare provider HCA UK has announced that John Reay (pictured) will become its president and chief executive, effective 1 April. Reay is currently HCA UK’s president of operations and chief executive of The Wellington Hospital.
Reay is taking over from Mike Neeb, who is retiring having worked for the group for 19 years, the past 12 as president and chief executive.
Neeb said: “I’m proud to have led HCA UK through an exciting time of development in which the organisation has grown from four hospitals into a network of hospitals and clinics in London, Manchester, and a recently announced partnership with University Hospitals Birmingham.
“I’m confident that I leave the organisation in the hands of an exceptional leader in John Reay who will continue to develop HCA UK as a world-class healthcare provider. I wish him and the entire HCA UK team every success.”
Reay said: “Mike’s drive to provide the highest quality care for our patients has been instrumental in establishing HCA UK as the largest provider of privately funded healthcare in the UK and the choice of private patients from around the world.”
