Chesterfield-based Heathcotes Group, a provider of residential care for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and associated complex needs, has appointed Paul Musgrave as managing director.
Musgrave has more than 25 years’ experience and has worked within the housing, home care and health and social care sectors. He was previously chief executive of Forest Healthcare and before that managing director of Executive Care Group. Musgrave also acts as chair of a multi-agency senior working group across health and social care, and is a founder member of the Centre for Creativity and Innovation in Care.
Musgrave said: “I am delighted to be joining Heathcotes at a time where the company is growing its offering to service users across the country. It has been a complex and challenging two years for the social care sector, owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, and I am eager to champion our individual service users. They remain our priority, and we will continue to provide real opportunities for them to acquire new skills and strengthen existing ones.
Tim Davies, chief executive of Heathcotes Group’s parent Envivo Group, added: “We are delighted to welcome Paul to Heathcotes and believe his lengthy experience across health and social care will help to ensure our services are set up in the strongest possible way. This will ensure we continue to change the lives of our service users by delivering person-centred care, and to support each person to progress and move on to more independent living.”
