PharmaImc Group: Sanjay Jariwala and Sue Couldery
London-based healthcare communication group Imc Group has appointed Dr Sanjay Jariwala as chief executive and Sue Couldery as chief financial officer.
Shairose Ebrahim, founder and former chief executive of Imc Group, is stepping down and exiting the business after 15 years and remains a shareholder in the business.
Jariwala has 20 years’ experience of senior leadership roles across medical, R&D, marketing, business development and corporate strategy. He was previously senior vice-president worldwide medical at Biogen and before that vice-president strategy as well as vice-president medical for infection, neuroscience and autoimmunity at AstraZeneca and a founder of its Medical Affairs Council. Prior to that he was senior vice-president business development at Vifor Pharma and held several senior R&D and medical roles at GSK and Procter & Gamble. He started his medical career at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
Couldery joins from global communications and advisory firm Teneo, where she was chief financee officer for EMEA with responsibility for 750 employees. Before that, she worked for Teneo and was also finance director at GPC International and Interbrand.
