Cambridge-based Lucida Medical has appointed Corina Cucuruzac as vice-president of sales and marketing.

Lucida Medical develops artificial intelligence systems to assist clinicians to detect and diagnose cancer using MRI.

Cucuruzac has worked in the medtech industry across various fields particularly in global medical device commercialisation and market expansion.

Lucidal Medical’s chief commercial officer StJohn Brown is retiring from executive responsibilities at the end of December but will continue to provide guidance to Cucuruzac in an advisory capacity.
