MIAA: Chris Harrop
MIAA, a Liverpool-based provider of assurance and solution services for the NHS and wider public sector, has appointed Chris Harrop as managing director.
Harrop, previously chief executive of the Walton Centre hospital in Liverpool, has been part of MIAA’s executive team since 2018 as solutions director.
MIAA’s services include internal audit, leadership, governance and risk management support, programme management delivery, digital services including technology risk, cybersecurity information governance, digital programme management and clinical coding, and anti-fraud services including investigations, prevention and detection, and healthcare quality services supporting governance and quality improvement.
Retiring managing director, Steve Connor commented: “I am delighted that Chris has been appointed as MD. He will bring the continuity and leadership to continue MIAA’s long track record of success.”
Harrop said: “I’m delighted and extremely proud to be taking over the role of MD from Steve. I have seen MIAA grow over the last 30 years and so much has been achieved. MIAA is a values-driven organisation that punches well above its weight. I am so excited to have the privilege to lead such a great team into what I know will be a successful future.”
