NMC Healthcare – Aspen: Rob Anderson

NMC Healthcare – Aspen has appointed Rob Anderson (pictured) as chief executive effective 1 July.

Anderson has worked in the independent healthcare sector for 22 years and has amassed extensive experience of managing healthcare organisations, as a hospital director and multi-site leader managing over 30 UK independent sector hospitals.

In 2015, Anderson was appointed operations director for Spire Healthcare, where he was accountable for a diverse portfolio of hospitals and clinics and developed a cancer strategy. He also oversaw the opening of Spire’s new build hospital in Nottingham.

Anderson left Spire in late summer 2018 and has worked as an independent consultant since, supporting a number of healthcare clients including Care UK’s hospital division and the Lister Hospital in Accra, Ghana.

He trained with PWC as a consultant partner in the delivery of its OpEx programmes, is an active international hospital surveyor for HQS (Ex King’s Fund) hospital accreditation programme.
