Global healthcare and technology consultancy Nordic Consulting, has appointed Claire Staple as vice-president of strategy and Ireland country manager, a newly created role to oversee the management of all existing client services and business operations in Ireland.

Staple will work with current customers on their digital transformation, as well as use her commercial and legal knowledge to advise new partners as they come on board. She will also contribute to Nordic’s internal strategic growth plans and play a key role in corporate operations.

Staple has almost a decade of experience in providing strategic support for the delivery of clinically enabled digital transformation programmes, including overseeing the procurement process for a large public sector contracts, Encompass, a multimillion-pound contract in Northern Ireland to roll out Epic’s electronic health record system across all acute, community and social care services.
