Renaissance Care: Jozi Stables, Madeana Laing and Dawn Gardiner

Renaissance Care has appointed new managers for three of its homes across Scotland.

Jozi Stables (pictured) joins as manager of Renaissance Care’s Mathieson House in Edinburgh. Stables spent six years with Balhousie Care Group, starting as a senior carer before going on to manage the training and development programmes as support manager. From there she took on a home manager role at Balhousie’s Ruthven Towers in Auchterarder.

She also worked as project manager for Meallmore Care Homes.

Madeana Laing will join as manager of Beech Manor Care Home in Blairgowrie.

Laing studied nursing at Dundee University and worked in acute medicine with NHS Tayside before taking on a role as a district nurse. She moved to Lisden Care Home in Kirriemuir, part of the Balhousie Group, where she worked as a staff nurse before being promoted to deputy manager and then manager.

Dawn Gardiner joins Renaissance Care as manager of Jesmond Care Home in Aberdeen.

Gardiner studied nursing at Robert Gordon University and took on a role in Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin before going on to work in a minor injuries department. She joined Balhousie Care Group in 2017 as deputy manager before quickly being promoted to manager in 2018.

Louise Barnett, managing director of Renaissance Care, said: “Jozi, Madeana and Dawn are welcome additions to our ever-expanding team and their ambitious plans for each of the homes truly complement Renaissance Care’s values and plans for future growth.

“Our priority is to provide the very best care for residents with a focus on health, well-being and lifestyle choices for all.”
