Kevin Shaw has been appointed as chief executive of new assisted living brand for luxury assisted living business Santhem Residences and care home design and construction business, Savista Developments.

Shaw will lead the expansion of Santhem Residences and its planned growth to build and fit out the next generation of Hallmark’s care homes and retirement communities. He will also support the creation of Santhem Care, its new home care proposition.

Shaw was previously managing director of luxury retirement village group Audley Villages.

Avnish Goyal, chairman of Santhem Residences, Savista Developments and Hallmark Care Homes said: “Kevin’s extensive experience in both construction and the retirement living sector will help us to execute our vision as we set out to create the next generation of care homes and retirement villages.”

Shaw added: “We have a fantastic team, a great range of high-quality sites that we are working on. The senior living sector is buoyant and we have the capital to invest. I am looking forward to working closely with Avnish and the team.”
