Social careUntil: Marc Nohr
Until, which provides London venues for health and wellness professionals, has appointed Marc Nohr as chairman.
Nohr will be responsible for recruiting a board of expert advisors to help steer Until into its next phase of growth. He will be focus on setting strategic direction, enhancing operational effectiveness, and driving forward the company’s mission to expand beyond London.
Nohr has more than three decades of experience working within the advertising industry and brand and membership marketing. He is familiar with launching, building and leading businesses of all sizes through periods of brand transformation and expansion.
He is also an entrepreneur and has backed or advised several businesses including his own agency Kitcatt Nohr (acquired by Publicis in 2011), Social Chain (founded by Steven Bartlett in 2014), Zone (acquired by Cognizant in 2017) and mobile monetisation company TapJoy (acquired by tech platform ironSource in 2021). He also holds several training qualifications and is director of a martial arts club and a corporate security training company.
Nohr said: “With the pandemic turbocharging the health and wellness sector, demand for a holistic, one-stop offering that serves both the professional and consumer has never been higher. The sector is crazily fragmented and complicated, until now. Until simplifies all of that, reimagining archaic ways of working with its pioneering model. Put simply it’s a game changer for professionals and their businesses. Until has already made remarkable strides in shaking up the health and wellness landscape and over the last two years has experienced rapid growth. I look forward to continuing that journey with the talented team to revolutionise the sector and in doing so improve lives on a global scale.”
Vish Amin, founder and chief executive of Until added: “Our expansion ambitions to build an industry-defining global opportunity call for a heavy-weight leadership team, and Marc is central to that. We are building an industry disruptor model and a key challenge with such a unique business is that there isn’t a manual or previous examples you can build a base from. Nohr’s heritage experience within the worlds of membership and fitness coupled with his visionary thinking will be instrumental in guiding Until into its next phase of growth.”
