PharmaVisionable: David Walker
Health technology company Visionable has appointed David Walker to the newly created position of chief commercial officer, responsible for developing and creating new partnerships with international organisations, identifying new markets, and overseeing the expansion of Visionable’s team.
Walker has leadership experience in a range of industries, working in senior commercial roles at Sky Television, Dyson, fintech Neyber, and most recently as chief commercial officer of AI-based technology company Winnow.
Visionable co-founder and chief executive Alan Lowe said: “David has proved his ability, throughout a stellar career, to boost a company’s market share by selling value rather than price, a principle that is intrinsic to Visionable. I’m delighted to welcome David as CCO to our expanding executive team and look forward to working closely with him as we forge partnerships and enter new markets to improve equity in healthcare and deliver better patient outcomes.”
Walker added: “I was drawn to Visionable because of the company’s clear dedication to its mission to make healthcare more equitable and accessible for all and its proposition that is changing healthcare as we know it – creating advanced, efficient systems that deliver better outcomes for both patients and professionals. Visionable is at an exciting phase of its development, experiencing exceptional demand, poised to scale up and with patented and unique technology to support its vision.”
Established in 2015, London-based Visionable provides a digital collaboration platform created to develop digital care pathways and virtual care consultations, which is used by NHS hospitals and trusts.
